Just wanted to let you know that I picked up my bag today with no problems - took only about an hour to go to get the forms from Air Canada, have them approved by Canada Customs and then pay the $45.00 (225.00ND) cost of cargo to Air Canada.  Thank you very much for all your help - especially for covering the bag in wrap - great idea - protected the bag and prevented loss/damage/opening.
